Because not everyone can attend General Conference, here is our report to the delegates ...... and the church at large. Brethren Peace Initiative is the current name for our peace education, emphasis, and action in the Brethren Church. Building upon strong New Testament peacemaking beliefs since our origin 302 years ago in Germany, BPI encourages Brethren to renew and revitalize their calling to be active peacemakers in all of life . . . The need for expressing and promoting the "peace of Christ" knows no boundaries. To inspire and facilitate this peace mission in our denomination, regular contacts with church members and friends include the following channels of communication:
